The Origin and History of Italian Greyhounds

Italian Greyhounds are the smallest dogs in the family of view, also known as Gazehound. The Italian Greyhound is an ancient race. An Egyptian tomb shows 6000 years like dogs Italian Greyhound. Also represented in the decorative arts of the Mediterranean 2000 years ago in the fields of modern Greece and Turkey. Greyhound Small skeletons were found during archaeological excavations in these areas.

These small dogs dogs became popular among the nobility during the Renaissance. There is a difference of opinion as to whether Italian greyhounds have been bred for hunting or below were intended to be, basically, pets and companions. They filled both roles that makes them easily adaptable to city or country life. In his hometown side magnet, the Italian greyhound is happy to relax at home or huddled in a blanket or a lap of its owner.
